Benefits
This honey is collected usually only by the tribal communities from the tropical forests of India. This species of honey bees (Rock bees – Apis dorsata) cannot be domesticated. They are always found in the wild and forage on the flowers in the forest. The nectar collected is therefore from a very large variety of flowers in the forests flowering in that season in that particular region, and never from single species as with most domesticated bees. The different combination of fragrances and flavours at different times also imparts it a unique flavour each season.
Instructions:
Do not refrigerate. Use a dry spoon. Store in a cool, dry place. Granulation in honey is a natural process. To liquefy, keep in warm water.
