chigare powder

Chigare powder is called Arappu in Tamil. It is the powder of a leaf which is an excellent conditioner to the hair. It is mixed with Shikakai powder to wash hair. It becomes slimy when mixed in water. Mix well 2 parts of dry Shikakai powder with 1 part of dry Arappu powder. Sieve together if necessary. To make a paste, take required quantity of the mixture in a bowl, add warm water to make a smooth semi solid paste without lumps and use as shampoo with conditioner.
